  • Listen to a narration by your guide while transferring to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, past Honolulu
  • Arrive at the naval base, where poignant artifacts await. Explore exhibits of personal memorabilia, dramatic photographs and real film footage of the December 7, 1941 attack
  • You will then travel by boat to the USS Arizona Memorial, a uniquely designed tribute to the sunken battleship and the 1,100 crewmen who lost their lives that day
  • Take a short drive from Pearl Harbor to Ford Island. Once used for a fertility ritual by ancient Hawaiians, the islet was at the center of the Pearl Harbor attacks. Today, it hosts many national memorials and continues to operate as the center of civilian military interactions
  • Listen to colorful stories of the Battleship Missouri, also known as the Mighty Mo. Stand where Gen. Douglas MacArthur accepted the Instrument of Surrender from Japan that ultimately ended World War II
  • Take a narrated drive to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl, where many American men and women who died fighting for their country are buried

  • See Iolani Palace, the official residence of Hawaii's last reigning monarch. This majestic structure is the only royal palace in the United States. It features American Florentine architecture seen nowhere else in the world
  • Explore Kawaiahao Church, one of the oldest standing Christian places of worship in Hawaii. The church has been nicknamed the Westminster Abbey of the Pacific. It was constructed from slabs of coral rock, hand-chiseled by Hawaiian divers almost 200 years ago
