Enjoy the Sea and Surf by kayaking and boogie boarding Kailua Bay. This tour is designed for the adventurer and wave rider looking for new discoveries in Kailua's unspoiled, pristine waters and beaches. Reef-protected Kailua Bay provides a safe environment for the beginner and advanced alike.
A comprehensive video briefing and instructions given by our experienced staff prepares our guest kayakers and boogie-boarders for a unique day at Kailua Bay and Lanikai Beach. Begin the day kayaking to Popoia Island. On the way keep a close eye out for the protected Green Sea Turtles. There are often several encounters on each trip. Green sea turtles are a threatened species, and seeing them is a very special experience. Visit your choice of several offshore islands, sanctuaries and beaches and find solitude exploring at your pace. Find a spot to sunbath or take a swim at your leisure.
Afterwards there is time to head out for some fun in the surf. Boogie-boarding is a favorite at the North end of the beach where the shore break forms a perfect wave. Great for both adults and kids to enjoy the surf.
